Sign into a Windows® Live account using the HTC HD7S.

Welcome to AT&T How To videos.

Today we will show you how to Sign into a Windows® Live account using the HTC HD7S.

Please Note: A Windows® live account is required to access Xbox LIVE®, Zune® Pass subscriptions, and the Windows® Marketplace. Adding a Windows Live™ account allows you to synchronize your contacts over the air. Most Windows Live™ accounts use a Microsoft® domain (@hotmail®.com, @MSN®.com, or @Live.com), some users may their Windows Live™ ID tied to an alternative email account. A Microsoft® Windows Live™ ID is required to sign in.

To sign into Windows Live™
– From the Start screen, tap E-mail setup.
Please Note: E-mail setup will only be displayed for users who have not yet configured an e-mail account. If you already set up an e-mail account, tap Settings – E-mail & accounts – Add an account
– Next tap Windows Live™
Please Note: For a first time Windows Live™ ID configuration, a notification will be displayed to help users with multiple Windows Live™ ID’s, select the correct one.
– Tap Next.
– Now enter the entire E-mail account address and password and then tap Sign in
– First time users will be taken to their E-mail inbox. New messages will be downloaded and displayed here.
– Users that have previously configured an E-mail account on their device will see the E-mail & accounts screen.
– Press the back arrow key to return to the Settings hub or press Windows® key to return to the Start screen.
